“We are not trapped or locked up in these bones. No, no. We are free to change. And love changes us. And if we can love one another, we can break open the sky.” -Walter Mosley
Healing has many layers. Each day as we rise, we remove the old, grave clothes of a broken identity rooted in low self-evaluation. We make a conscious choice to come up higher in our honor of ourselves and our Creator. We are taking a courageous mission back home –to the truth that we are made in the image of God. We are one with our Creator.
Our worthiness is settled, it is a birthright. It is our task to remember, to remind ourselves.
When we view life as a vehicle of growth, we can create opportunities from our obstacles. We do have the ability to transform the life we have settled for, into a life we deeply desire.
Today, we can choose to give ourselves permission to break the shackles that low self-esteem and unworthiness created. We are on a Divinely guided mission, reclaiming all that we have forfeited by forgetting ourselves.
The world and people only mirror back what we believe. We must find the courage to stop seeking from others what we have the power to give to ourselves. When we take our soul-level-question of worthiness to others, we put ourselves at the fragile mercy of people who might still be healing their own self-concept. We can look within and acknowledge ourselves, or we can continue the instability of living disconnected from our hearts. The choice is ours. This is the beauty and power of man. Unlike any other creature in the Universe, we can, through changing our perceptions and beliefs choose to create our own miracles.
